Original WWII Dutch NSB photo SS-Gruppenführer Richard Jungclaus & Anton Mussert

The photo is in good condition and shows the NSB leader Anton Mussert and SS-Gruppenführer Richard Jungclaus during his visit in the Netherlands.
Richard Jungclaus was the (Höherer) SS- und Polizeiführer of Belgium and France.
From August 1940 to April 1942 he worked as an advisor to the Dutch SS, then until August 1944 as leader of the “Dienststelle Jungclaus” in Brussels, and as authorized representative of Heinrich Himmler for Volkstumsfragen und zur Betreuung der flämischen SS.
In 1944 he was demoted to SS-Hauptsturmführer der Reserve (Waffen-SS), on the orders of Heinrich Himmler, for releasing  prisoners.
Jungclaus was killed as an officer in the 7. SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division Prinz Eugen during combat actions in Yugoslavia on April 14, 1945.
This particular photo was made at the NSB headquarters in Utrecht and the man in the back is NSB official Tonny Kessler.

Originele WWII Nederlandse NSB foto ‘Anton Mussert &  SS-Gruppenführer Richard Claus’

De foto is in goede conditie en daarop is de NSB leider Anton Mussert te zien samen met SS-Gruppenführer Richard Jungclaus tijdens zijn bezoek aan Nederland.
Richard Jungclaus was de (Höherer) SS- und Polizeiführer van België en Frankrijk.
Van augustus 1940 tot april 1942 werkte hij als adviseur van de Nederlandse SS, daarna tot augustus 1944 als leider van de ‘Dienststelle Jungclaus’ in Brussel, en als gemachtigde vertegenwoordiger van Heinrich Himmler voor Volkstumsfragen und zur Betreuung der flämischen SS.
In 1944 werd hij gedegradeerd tot SS-Hauptsturmführer der Reserve (Waffen-SS), op bevel van Heinrich Himmler, voor het vrijlaten van gevangenen.
Jungclaus sneuvelde als officier in de 7. SS-Freiwilligen-Gebirgs-Division Prinz Eugen tijdens gevechtsacties in Joegoslavië op 14 april 1945.
