Original WWII Dutch NSB letter Max Blokzijl

The letter is in good condition and is typed and hand signed by the NSB Head of the Propaganda Department Max Blokzijl.
The letter was sent on 13 June 1944 to the publisher De Nenasu on the Oude Gracht in Utrecht.Max Blokzijl wrote this letter regarding the printing of Youth Storm pamphlets.
The trial against Blokzijl soon followed after the war, which was followed with great interest because of his great fame among the Dutch public.
The indictment contained only one point: the accusation that during the years of occupation, while the Netherlands was at war with Germany, he deliberately carried out public propaganda, mainly by radio, aimed at breaking the spiritual resistance of the Dutch people and making that people become unfaithful to the common allied cause.
He was sentenced to death and was executed on March 16, 1946 on the Waalsdorpervlakte.

Originele WWII Nederlandse NSB brief Max Blokzijl

De brief is in goede conditie en getyped en handgesigneerd door het NSB Hoofd der afdeling propaganda Max Blokzijl.
De brief werd verstuurd op 13 juni 1944 naar de uitgeverij de Nenasu aan de Oude Gracht in Utrecht.
Max Blokzijl schreef deze brief met betrekking tot het drukken van Jeugdstorm pamfletten.
Na de oorlog volgde vrij snel de rechtszaak tegen Blokzijl, die wegens zijn grote bekendheid bij het Nederlandse publiek met grote belangstelling werd gevolgd. De tenlastelegging bevatte slechts één punt: de beschuldiging dat hij gedurende de bezettingsjaren, terwijl Nederland in oorlog was met Duitsland, opzettelijk, in het openbaar, in hoofdzaak door middel van radio, propaganda had gevoerd, gericht op het breken van het geestelijk verzet van het Nederlandse volk en het ontrouw doen worden van dat volk aan de gemeenschappelijke geallieerde zaak.
Hij werd ter dood veroordeeld en werd geexecuteerd op 16 maart 1946 op de Waalsdorpervlakte.
