Original WWII Dutch NSB/Frontzorg flyer

Original Dutch NSB / Frontzorg flyer from the Second World War, issued by the Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging der Nederlanden (NSB) and intended for Dutch volunteers serving at the front.

This propagandistic printed document consists of a covering letter and contents list for a so-called “Frontzorg” parcel, intended for Dutch soldiers serving on the German side.

The front bears the notice: “Report any change of Field Post Number directly to Frontzorg in your own interest”, alongside a detailed list of the parcel contents, including cigarettes, shag tobacco, shaving supplies, toothpaste, soap, writing paper, and other personal items. The parcel is numbered (Package No. 400) and filled in by hand, indicating actual use and dispatch.

The inside contains a text addressed to the “Comrade”, referring to shortages, distribution measures, and moral support from the home front.

An interesting collector’s item for enthusiasts of Second World War documentation, Dutch collaboration material, and political propaganda publications from the period 1940–1945.

Originele Nederlandse NSB/Frontzorg flyer uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, uitgegeven door de Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging der Nederlanden (NSB) en gericht aan Nederlandse vrijwilligers aan het front.
Dit propagandistische drukwerk betreft een begeleidend schrijven en inhoudsopgave van een zogenoemd Frontzorg-pakket, bestemd voor Nederlandse militairen die aan Duitse zijde dienden. Op de voorzijde staat de oproep: “Geef verandering van Veldpostnummer in uw eigen belang direct aan Frontzorg op”, met daarnaast een uitgebreide lijst van de pakketinhoud, waaronder sigaretten, shag, scheerbenodigdheden, tandpasta, zeep, schrijfpapier en andere persoonlijke artikelen. Het pakket is genummerd (Pakket Nr. 400) en handmatig ingevuld, wat wijst op daadwerkelijk gebruik en verzending. De binnenzijde bevat een tekst gericht aan de “Kameraad”, waarin wordt ingegaan op schaarste, distributie en de morele steun vanuit het thuisfront. Een interessant verzamelobject voor verzamelaars van Tweede Wereldoorlog-documentatie, Nederlandse collaboratie items en politieke propaganda-uitgaven uit de periode 1940–1945.
