Original WWII Dutch NSB framed print of NSB leader Anton Mussert

This is a framed NSB portrait of Anton Mussert, the leader of the National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands (NSB).
The portrait is dated 1940 and depicts Anton Mussert in uniform, executed in a detailed black-and-white lithographic print.
The work is signed at the lower right and dated with the year 1940.
The piece is set in its original frame from that period, complete with glass and cardboard backing.
Anton Mussert (1894–1946) was co-founder and political leader of the NSB, which closely collaborated with the German occupier during the Second World War.
After the liberation, he was tried and in 1946 sentenced to death and executed for high treason.

Dit is een ingelijst NSB portret van Anton Mussert, de leider van de Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland (NSB). Het portret is gedateerd 1940 en toont Mussert in uniform, uitgevoerd in een gedetailleerde zwart-wit lithografische druk.
Rechtsonder is het werk in de plaat gesigneerd en voorzien van het jaartal 1940.
Het stuk is geplaatst in de originele lijst uit die periode, compleet met glas en kartonnen achterzijde.
Anton Mussert (1894–1946) was medeoprichter en politiek leider van de NSB, die nauw samenwerkte met de Duitse bezetter tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Na de bevrijding werd hij berecht en in 1946 ter dood veroordeeld en geëxecuteerd wegens hoogverraad.
