These Nederlandsche Unie cufflinks are a historically interesting accessory from the period of the German occupation of the Netherlands (1940–1941).
The round cufflinks are made of metal with a gold-colored finish and feature the characteristic Nederlandsche Unie emblem, combined with the Dutch national tricolor in enamel.
The reverse is fitted with a correct and sturdy hinged fastening system.
The Nederlandsche Unie was banned by the German occupiers on 13 December 1941, marking the end of the movement.

Deze Nederlandsche Unie manchetknopen vormen een historisch interessant accessoire uit de bezettingsperiode van Nederland (1940–1941). De ronde manchetknopen zijn uitgevoerd in metaal met een goudkleurige afwerking en voorzien van het kenmerkende Nederlandsche Unie-embleem, gecombineerd met de nationale driekleur in emaille. De achterzijde is voorzien van een correct en stevig scharniersysteem. De Nederlandsche Unie werd door de Duitse bezetter op 13 december 1941 verboden, waarmee een einde kwam aan het bestaan van deze beweging.
