Original WWII Dutch ‘Nederlandsche Binnenlandse Strijdkrachten’ Den Haag stempel

This original stamp of the Dutch Internal Forces (Nederlandsche Binnenlandsche Strijdkrachten – NBS) from the Second World War is a remarkable piece of resistance history from the The Hague district.

Deze originele stempel van de Nederlandsche Binnenlandsche Strijdkrachten (NBS) uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is een bijzonder stuk verzetsgeschiedenis uit het district Den Haag. De stempel bestaat uit een houten handvat met een ronde rubberen stempelplaat en vertoont duidelijke sporen van gebruik en ouderdom.
In het midden is een profiel van een militair hoofd zichtbaar, omringd door de tekst “De Binnenlandsche Strijdkrachten – District ’s-Gravenhage”, met centraal de letter B.
Voor de duidelijkheid hebben wij tevens een foto in spiegelbeeld toegevoegd, zodat de tekst van de stempel goed leesbaar is.
