Original WWII Dutch Landwacht Nederland/Waffen-SS document with autograph of Gerhard Stroink

This Landwacht Netherlands document is in good condition, dated Feb. 28, 1945, and was hand-signed by Dutch SS officer Gerhard Stroink.
Gerhard Stroink joined the NSB at the age of 16 and served as a Second Lieutenant in the Dutch Army.
After the capitulation, he joined the Waffen-SS to continue his career as an officer.
As an orderly officer, he then served with the Germania regiment of the notorious fifth German SS Armored Division Wiking.
For six weeks in the summer of 1943, the Dutchman fought against the Russians in the vicinity of Kharkov.
On Aug. 31, 1943, Stroink was wounded by the impact of a mortar shell and as a result he lost a hand.
The document contains information and places such as Meppel/Groningen and Winschoten and has to do with the Re-evacuation of women and children after Crazy Tuesday.

Origineel WWII Landwacht Nederland/Waffen-SS document met handtekening Gerhard Stroink
Dit Landwacht Nederland document is in goede conditie, dateert van 28 februari 1945 en werd met de hand ondertekend door de Nederlandse SS officier Gerhard Stroink.
Gerhard Stroink werd op 16 jarige leeftijd lid van de NSB en diende als Tweede Luitenant in het Nederlands leger.
Na de capitulatie sloot hij zich aan bij de Waffen-SS om zijn carrière als officier voort te zetten.
Als ordonnansofficier diende hij vervolgens bij het regiment Germania van de beruchte vijfde Duitse SS-Pantserdivisie Wiking.
In de zomer van 1943 vocht de Nederlander zes weken lang tegen de Russen in de omgeving van Charkov.
Op 31 augustus 1943 raakt Stroink gewond door een inslag van een mortiergranaat en hierdoor verloor hij een hand.
Het document bevat informatie en plaatsen zoals Meppel/Groningen en Winschoten en heeft te maken met de Her-evacuatie van vrouwen en kinderen na dolle dinsdag.
Een uniek document met een zeldzame handtekening van een Nederlandse vrijwilliger!
