Original WWII Dutch Frontzorg collecting box

This Dutch Frontzorg collection box is in good condition and features the periodic painted inscription on the front.
The bus is a red one with the white painted inscription ‘Frontzorg’.
Frontzorg was a National Socialist organization in the Netherlands during World War II.
It was founded in 1941 to support Dutch volunteers fighting on the Eastern Front for Nazi Germany.
Among other things, the organization provided food and clothing packages, mail delivery and financial assistance to their families.
Frontzorg worked closely with the NSB and other pro-German institutions and also played an important role in the propaganda surrounding the “heroic struggle against Bolshevism.”
Although presented as an aid organization, Frontzorg primarily served the ideological purpose of the occupying forces.

Deze Nederlandse Frontzorg collectebus is in goede conditie en voorzien van het periodieke geschilderde opschrift aan de voorzijde.
De bus is een rood exemplaar met het witte geverfde opschrift ‘Frontzorg’.
Frontzorg was een nationaalsocialistische organisatie in Nederland tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Ze werd in 1941 opgericht om Nederlandse vrijwilligers die aan het oostfront vochten voor nazi-Duitsland te ondersteunen.
De organisatie verzorgde onder andere voedsel- en kledingpakketten, postvoorziening en financiële hulp aan hun gezinnen.
Frontzorg werkte nauw samen met de NSB en andere pro-Duitse instellingen en speelde ook een belangrijke rol in de propaganda rond de “heldhaftige strijd tegen het bolsjewisme”.
Hoewel gepresenteerd als een hulporganisatie, diende Frontzorg vooral het ideologische doel van de bezetter.
