Original WWII Czech Národní Souručenství ‘Vlasti Zdar’ NS Enamel Membership Badge – Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia

Original WWII Czech enamel membership badge of Národní Souručenství, the political organization established in 1939 in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
Národní Souručenství, generally translated as ‘National Partnership’ or ‘National Unity’, became the sole permitted political organization for the Czech population within the Protectorate in April 1939.
The badge has a shield-shaped design finished in white, red, blue and black enamel with the letters ‘N S’ positioned in the centre.
The upper section bears the inscription ‘VLASTI ZDAR’, which served as the official slogan and greeting of Národní Souručenství.
This type of badge was already produced in 1939, when authorization was given for the production of 50,000 examples as part of the organization’s propaganda and membership campaign.
The reverse retains its fitting for attaching the badge to clothing.

Národní Souručenství, vrij vertaald als ‘Nationale Gemeenschap’ of ‘Nationale Eenheid’, werd in april 1939 de enige toegestane politieke organisatie voor de Tsjechische bevolking binnen het Protectoraat.
De speld is uitgevoerd in de vorm van een schild en voorzien van wit, rood, blauw en zwart emaille met centraal de letters ‘N S’.
Langs de bovenzijde staat het opschrift ‘VLASTI ZDAR’, dat de officiële leus en groet van Národní Souručenství was.
Dit type speld werd reeds in 1939 vervaardigd, waarbij toestemming werd gegeven voor de productie van 50.000 exemplaren als onderdeel van de propaganda en ledenwerving van de organisatie.
De achterzijde is voorzien van een bevestiging waarmee de speld aan de kleding kon worden gedragen.
Een origineel historisch verzamelobject uit de periode van het Protectoraat Bohemen en Moravië tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
