Original WW1 French pilot wing

This French pilot wing from the First World War is made of gold-colored metal and features a finely crafted eagle with outstretched wings, characteristic of early aviation insignia from the 1914–1918 period.
The front shows detailed, hand-finished workmanship with clearly defined feather and head contours, while the reverse is marked “FIX,” a well-known French manufacturing stamp associated with high-quality insignia.
The long pin and solid fastening construction are fully authentic and remain in functional condition.

Deze Franse pilotenwing uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog is vervaardigd uit goudkleurig metaal en toont een fraai vormgegeven adelaar met wijd gespreide vleugels, typerend voor vroeg-luchtvaartinsignes uit de periode 1914–1918. De voorzijde heeft een gedetailleerde, handmatige afwerking met duidelijke contouren van veren en kop, terwijl de achterzijde is voorzien van de stempel “FIX”, een bekende Franse productieaanduiding voor hoogwaardige insignes. De lange naald en stevige bevestigingsconstructie zijn volledig authentiek en blijven in functionele staat.
