Exceptional and complete Bavarian commemorative medal “Bayern 1914/16” with integrated fold-out remembrance album dedicated to the First World War.

This finely crafted metal medal/case features on the obverse a portrait of King Ludwig III of Bavaria, surrounded by the inscription “Ludwig III König von Bayern” and signed by the designer (Rich. Klein). The reverse displays the Bavarian coat of arms with lions and crown, bearing the motto “In Treue fest – Bayerntaler 1914/16.”

Inside is a remarkable paper fold-out album with richly illustrated roundels depicting important personalities, battles, and themes from the Great War, including military commanders, frontline scenes, zeppelins, artillery, trench warfare, and patriotic imagery.
