This beautifully illustrated certificate was presented to troops during the reading of the daily order at the front of the Regiment Jagers in Camp Waalsdorp.
The text commemorates the birth of Princess Beatrix in January 1938 and expresses the joy of the Royal Netherlands Army following the arrival of the princess.
The document bears the printed name of the Minister of Defence, Van Dijk.
Its decorative border features historic Jager soldiers in uniform, military exercises, a campfire, regimental colours, the traditional Regiment Jagers hunting horn and the crowned Dutch coat of arms.

Deze rijk geïllustreerde oorkonde werd verstrekt aan dagorderlezers voor het front van het Regiment Jagers in het kamp Waalsdorp.
De tekst vermeldt de geboorte van Prinses Beatrix in januari 1938 en spreekt de vreugde uit van de Koninklijke Landmacht over de geboorte van de prinses.
Onderaan staat de naam van de toenmalige Minister van Defensie, Van Dijk.
De fraai vormgegeven randdecoratie toont verschillende militaire scènes met jagers in historisch uniform, exercities, een kampvuur, vaandels, de traditionele jachthoorn van het Regiment Jagers en het Nederlandse rijkswapen met kroon.
