Original Pre 1940 Dutch army metal unit ‘I’ cap insignia

This original metal unit roman number “1” for the Dutch field cap dates from the pre-1940 period and is an authentic uniform component of the pre-war Dutch army.

Dit originele metalen eenheidscijfer romeinse “1” voor de Nederlandse veldmuts dateert uit de periode vóór 1940 en is een uniform onderdeel van het vooroorlogse Nederlandse leger. Het embleem is uitgevoerd in metaal met een oranje gelakte voorzijde en toont een fraai reliëf met fijne structuurdetails.
Aan de achterzijde bevinden zich de twee originele bevestigingspennen, bedoeld om het cijfer stevig op de veldmuts te monteren.
