Original Polish Order of Polonia Restituta, instituted in 1944.
The decoration features a white enamelled Maltese cross with a white Polish eagle on a red centre, surrounded by the inscription ‘Polonia Restituta’.
The reverse bears the date ‘1944’ within the central medallion.
Complete with its original red and white ribbon.
A remarkable historical decoration from the Second World War and an excellent addition for collectors of Polish orders, decorations and military memorabilia.

Originele Poolse Orde van Polonia Restituta, ingesteld in 1944

Het onderscheidingsteken bestaat uit een wit geëmailleerd Maltezer kruis met in het midden een witte Poolse adelaar op een rode achtergrond, omgeven door de tekst ‘Polonia Restituta’.
De keerzijde draagt het jaartal ‘1944’ in het centrale medaillon.
Compleet met het originele rood-witte lint.
Een bijzonder historisch onderscheidingsteken uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog en een waardevolle aanvulling voor verzamelaars van Poolse onderscheidingen en militaire memorabilia.
