Original East German DDR national flag with the national emblem.
The flag is executed in the familiar black-red-gold colour scheme with horizontal bands.
The DDR state emblem is applied centrally, showing the hammer and compass surrounded by a wreath of wheat ears and ribbon.
The emblem is attached to the front of the red band and is also visible on the reverse side.
The side edge retains the reinforced hem and attachment points for a flagpole.
An interesting collectible for collectors of East German DDR militaria and flags.

Originele DDR nationale vlag met het wapen van de Duitse Democratische Republiek.
De vlag is uitgevoerd in de bekende zwart-rood-goud kleurstelling met horizontale banen.
Centraal is het DDR-staatswapen aangebracht, met hamer en passer omgeven door een korenaarkrans en lint.
Het embleem is op de voorzijde van de rode baan bevestigd en is ook aan de achterzijde zichtbaar.
Aan de zijkant zijn de versterkte zoom en bevestigingspunten voor een vlaggenmast aanwezig.
Een interessant verzamelobject voor verzamelaars van DDR militaria en Oost-Duitse vlaggen.
