Original Dutch-Indies 1947-1950s large grouping of photographs, album and car pennant from Generaal-majoor, C. Mante

This very large Dutch grouping is in good condition and belonged to Major General C. Mante who commanded the L.S.K. (Air Forces) in the Dutch East Indies period in the late 1940s through the mid-1950s.
This set consists of 291 photos in total, photo album and his car pennant.
The photos show service in the Dutch East Indies, training and bases in the Netherlands, Eisenhower’s visit to the Netherlands, weapons, funerals, air bases and many other interesting topics from his career.
A wonderful historical Dutch set!

Deze zeer grote grouping is in goede conditie en is afkomstig van Generaal-majoor C. Mante welke het bevel voerde over de L.S.K. (Luchtstrijdkrachten) in de Nederlands-Indië periode eind jaren 40 t/m halverwege de jaren 50.
Deze set bestaat uit 293 foto’s in totaal, foto album en zijn auto vaandel.
Op de foto’s is de diensttijd in Nederlands-Indië te zien, de opleiding en basissen in Nederland, het bezoek van Eisenhower aan Nederland, wapens, begrafenissen, vliegbasissen en vele andere interessante onderwerpen uit zijn carrière.
Een prachtige historische Nederlandse set!
