Original Romanian Order of the Star of the Socialist Republic of Romania from the 1948-1965 period.
This military and civilian decoration was awarded by the Socialist Republic of Romania for outstanding service to the state, armed forces, economy, science and culture.
The decoration features a striking multi-pointed star with a central red enamel medallion displaying the coat of arms of the Socialist Republic of Romania.
The reverse retains its original pin fastening, completing the decoration.
Its detailed craftsmanship and historical significance make this an exceptional collectible from the Cold War era.

Deze militaire en civiele onderscheiding werd uitgereikt door de Socialistische Republiek Roemenië voor bijzondere verdiensten op het gebied van de staat, strijdkrachten, economie, wetenschap en cultuur.
De onderscheiding heeft een opvallende meerpuntige stervorm met een centraal rood geëmailleerd medaillon voorzien van het staatswapen van de Socialistische Republiek Roemenië.
De achterzijde is voorzien van de originele bevestigingsspeld waardoor het exemplaar compleet is uitgevoerd.
Door de verzorgde afwerking en historische betekenis vormt deze onderscheiding een bijzonder verzamelobject uit de Koude Oorlog.
