Original 1939 German NSRK painting by Richard Pfeiffer

This original German NSRK painting from 1939 is a characteristic and decorative work by artist Richard Pfeiffer, executed in oil on wood and housed in its original frame. The painting depicts a rider on horseback jumping an obstacle, a period-typical scene reflecting the sporting and military ideals of the Nationalsozialistisches Reiterkorps (NSRK). The signature “Richard Pfeiffer 1939” is visible in the lower right corner.

The painting remains in original condition with normal signs of age consistent with its period. Damage is visible to the lower part of the frame, but this is the period frame from the 1930s that has always accompanied the painting. The overall dimensions including the frame are approximately 90 × 73 cm.
