Original German propaganda leaflet from 1933 bearing the ‘Aufruf der Reichsregierung an das deutsche Volk!’, issued in connection with the referendum on withdrawal from the League of Nations.
The front shows the full text of the appeal by the Reichsregierung, printed in Fraktur type.
At the bottom of the text appears the place and date ‘Berlin, den 14. Oktober 1933’ with the signature ‘Die Reichsregierung’.
Below this follows the voting question addressed to ‘deutscher Mann’ and ‘deutsche Frau’, with two voting boxes marked ‘Ja’ and ‘Nein’.
The ‘Ja’ box has been marked with a handwritten cross.
The reverse of the leaflet is blank.
