Original 1930 Dutch Royal Court Invitation – Queen Wilhelmina & Prince Hendrik – G.B.B. Dorst ‘Oranjebond’

Original Dutch invitation for an evening reception at the Royal Court on Tuesday 7 January 1930 during the reign of Queen Wilhelmina.
The invitation was issued on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness Prince Hendrik to Mr G.B.B. Dorst, 1st Secretary of the Royal Association ‘Oranjebond’.
The reception commenced at 9:00 PM and an additional notice from the acting Grand Master of the Queen’s Household is attached to the invitation.
This notice requests Dorst to be present in the ‘Tweede Crème Salon’ at 10:15 PM, where members of the Royal Household would assist him in finding the room.
The Dutch royal coat of arms is embossed on both the front and reverse.
The invitation remains in used condition with discoloration, folds and traces of use as visible in the photographs.

Originele Nederlandse uitnodiging voor een avondreceptie ten Hove op dinsdag 7 januari 1930 tijdens de regering van koningin Wilhelmina
De uitnodiging werd namens Hare Majesteit de Koningin en Zijne Koninklijke Hoogheid Prins Hendrik verstrekt aan de heer G.B.B. Dorst, 1e secretaris van de Koninklijke Vereeniging ‘Oranjebond’.
De receptie begon om 21.00 uur en op de uitnodiging is een aanvullende mededeling van de dienstdoende Grootmeester van het Huis van de Koningin aangebracht.
Hierin wordt Dorst verzocht zich om 22.15 uur in de ‘Tweede Crème Salon’ te bevinden, waarbij de heren van de Hofhouding hem de weg zouden wijzen.
Op de voor- en achterzijde is het Nederlandse koninklijke wapen in reliëf aangebracht.
De kaart verkeert in gebruikte staat met verkleuring, vouwen en gebruikssporen zoals zichtbaar op de foto’s.
