Original Austrian official’s ‘Zweispitz’ bicorne hat dating to around 1900.
This classic headpiece is made of black cloth and fitted with gilt metal cockade and buttons.
The interior retains the original maker’s marks of Johann Pichler of Vienna and Moritz Tiller & Co., Imperial and Royal Court Supplier in Vienna, Budapest and Belgrade.
The bicorne was worn as part of the official Austro-Hungarian uniform during the period around 1900.
The hat comes complete with its original carrying case.
The carrying case shows noticeable damage and signs of use but remains an attractive addition to the set.

Originele Oostenrijkse steek ‘Zweispitz’ voor een beambte uit circa 1900
Dit klassieke hoofddeksel is uitgevoerd in zwart textiel met vergulde metalen kokarde en knopen.
Aan de binnenzijde bevinden zich de originele fabrikantenstempels van Johann Pichler uit Wenen en Moritz Tiller & Co., Hofleverancier in Wenen, Boedapest en Belgrado.
De steek is een representatief onderdeel van het Oostenrijks-Hongaarse uniform uit de periode rond 1900.
Het hoofddeksel wordt geleverd met de originele transportdoos.
De transportdoos vertoont duidelijke beschadigingen en gebruikssporen, maar vormt nog altijd een waardevolle aanvulling op het geheel.
