Original WWII Dutch NSB promotion document of N.S.V.O. leader Olga de Ruiter

This Dutch NSB promotion document is in good condition and is from NSB leader Anton Mussert.
He appointed Olga de Ruiter-Van Lankeren Matthes as national leader of the N.S.V.O., National Socialist Women’s Organization, on Feb. 19, 1941.
Under Olga de Ruiter’s leadership -the NSVO reached its greatest flowering, with over twenty thousand members.
Olga de Ruiter maintained contacts with National Socialist women’s organizations in other countries. For example, on October 2, 1941, she spoke at the Concertgebouw during a meeting for German women living in the Netherlands.
Here, too, she continued to propagate her Dutch National Socialism, although she was not thanked for it. She wanted the Netherlands to remain independent and not be absorbed into the Third Reich. De Ruiter attended numerous NSVO meetings, exhibitions and manifestations throughout the country. She held lectures on the “task of women in National Socialist society” and engaged in educational affairs and children’s homes.
Olga de Ruiter remained “National Leader” of the NSVO until August 1, 1943. By that time, she so disagreed with Mussert, who was beginning to lead the NSB in the German National Socialist spirit, that both she and her husband resigned their positions and thanked for NSB membership.
In 1982 Olga de Ruiter died in Diepenveen at the age of eighty.

Dit Nederlandse NSB benoeming document is in goede conditie en is afkomstig van NSB leider Anton Mussert.
Hij benoemde Olga de Ruiter-Van Lankeren Matthes op 19 februari 1941 tot landelijk leidster van de N.S.V.O., Nationaal-Socialistische Vrouwenorganisatie.
Onder leiding van Olga de Ruiter –bereikte de NSVO haar grootste bloei, met ruim twintigduizend leden.
Olga de Ruiter onderhield contacten met nationaal-socialistische vrouwenorganisaties in andere landen. Zo sprak ze op 2 oktober 1941 in het Concertgebouw tijdens een bijeenkomst voor in Nederland wonende Duitse vrouwen.
Ook hier bleef zij haar Nederlandse nationaal-socialisme uitdragen, al werd haar dat niet in dank afgenomen. Ze wilde Nederland zelfstandig houden en niet laten opgaan in het Derde Rijk. De Ruiter bezocht talloze NSVO-bijeenkomsten, exposities en manifestaties door het land. Ze hield lezingen over de ‘taak van de vrouw in de nationaal-socialistische samenleving’ en hield zich bezig met onderwijszaken en kindertehuizen.
Olga de Ruiter bleef tot 1 augustus 1943 ‘Landelijk Leidster’ van de NSVO. Tegen die tijd verschilde ze zo van mening met Mussert, die de NSB in de Duits nationaal-socialistische geest begon te leiden, dat zowel zij als haar man hun functie neerlegde en voor het NSB-lidmaatschap bedankte.
In 1982 overleed Olga de Ruiter in Diepenveen, in de ouderdom van tachtig jaar.
Een zeer uniek document voor de N.S.V.O. collectie!
