Original WWII Dutch Luchtbescherming armband with the letters ‘L.B.’
The armband is made of light-coloured fabric with the black printed letters ‘L.B.’ on the front.
Fabric ties are attached on both sides, allowing the armband to be tied around the sleeve.
The front is stamped with the number ‘072146’.
This type of armband was worn by members of the Luchtbeschermingsdienst, the organisation responsible for protecting the civilian population during air raids in wartime.
An interesting collectible for collectors of Dutch WWII civil defence material.

De armband is vervaardigd van lichtgekleurde stof met de zwart gedrukte letters ‘L.B.’ op de voorzijde.
Aan beide zijden zijn stoffen bandjes bevestigd waarmee de armband om de mouw kon worden gebonden.
Op de voorzijde is het nummer ‘072146’ gestempeld.
Dit type armband werd gedragen door leden van de Luchtbeschermingsdienst, de organisatie die tijdens de oorlog was belast met bescherming van de burgerbevolking bij luchtaanvallen.
Een interessant verzamelobject voor verzamelaars van Nederlandse WOII burgerbeschermingsmaterialen.
