The buckle is manufactured from aluminum and features a more detailed and decorative appearance than the standard field belt buckles of the German Heer.
These buckles were worn with parade and dress belts as part of the formal uniform of Heer personnel.

Dit representatieve koppelslot is uitgevoerd met een fijn gestructureerde ondergrond en centraal het embleem van de Duitse adelaar boven het hakenkruis.
