Original DDR Cold War era large Zivilverteidigung flag on pole with top and cover Erfurt

Original large DDR Zivilverteidigung parade flag from the Cold War era complete with the original flagpole, metal finial, protective cover and two honour ribbons.
This impressive ceremonial flag originates from the 3rd Bereitschaft Bezirk Erfurt and features the official Zivilverteidigung emblem of the German Democratic Republic.
Attached to the pole are a purple honour ribbon embroidered ‘Beste Formation’ and a red honour ribbon embroidered ’11. Februar 1988′, providing clear historical context.
The metal finial is decorated with the DDR emblem and completes the ceremonial appearance of the set.
The original black protective cover is included and shows normal signs of use together with a repaired tear.
The flag measures approximately 190 x 120 cm and the complete pole has a length of approximately 300 cm.
Silver coloured fringe finishes the edges of the flag.

Deze indrukwekkende ceremoniële vlag is afkomstig van de 3. Bereitschaft Bezirk Erfurt en draagt het officiële Zivilverteidigung-embleem van de Duitse Democratische Republiek.
Aan de stok bevinden zich een paars erelint met de tekst ‘Beste Formation’ en een rood erelint met de tekst ’11. Februar 1988′, waarmee de vlag een duidelijke historische context krijgt.
De metalen vlaggentop is uitgevoerd met het DDR-embleem en vormt een fraai afgewerkt ceremonieel detail.
De originele zwarte beschermhoes voor de vlag wordt meegeleverd en vertoont normale gebruikssporen en een gerepareerde beschadiging.
