Original German book ‘Konzentrationslager Oranienburg’ from 1934, written by SA-Sturmbannführer Schäfer, commander of Konzentrationslager Oranienburg of SA-Standarte 208.
This early propaganda publication discusses the establishment and organization of one of the first concentration camps in National Socialist Germany.
The book remains in good original condition with normal signs of use consistent with its period.
The title page bears an original stamp from the ‘SS-Junkerschule Tölz’ reading ‘Vereinnahmt für Studium der Judenfrage’ (“Devoted to the Study of the Jewish Question”), indicating that this copy was used as instructional material within the SS officer training program.
The book also carries a University of Washington Library stamp and bookplate from the library of Prof. M. Von Brevern.
The SS-Junkerschule Tölz was one of the principal training academies for future Waffen-SS officers.
Its curriculum combined military education with extensive National Socialist ideological instruction.
Books such as this were used to educate officer candidates according to the official propaganda and ideology of the regime.

Dit vroege propagandawerk behandelt de oprichting en organisatie van één van de eerste concentratiekampen in nationaalsocialistisch Duitsland.
Het boek verkeert in een nette, originele staat met normale gebruikssporen passend bij de periode.
Op de titelpagina bevindt zich een originele stempel van de ‘SS-Junkerschule Tölz’ met de tekst ‘Vereinnahmt für Studium der Judenfrage’ (bestemd voor de studie van de joodse kwestie), waaruit blijkt dat dit exemplaar als lesmateriaal binnen de officiersopleiding werd gebruikt.
Daarnaast is het boek voorzien van een bibliotheekstempel en ex-libris van de University of Washington Library, afkomstig uit de bibliotheek van Prof. M. Von Brevern.
De SS-Junkerschule Tölz was één van de belangrijkste opleidingscentra voor toekomstige Waffen-SS officieren.
