Original WWII US Navy MKII helmet with communication set

Original WWII US Navy set from the Second World War, consisting of a blue-grey steel talker MKII helmet, a cloth headset hood with ear cups, wiring and a black communication unit with carrying strap.
The helmet has a typical rounded shape with small ventilation holes along the edge and a light textile interior lining.
The headset hood is made from brown and beige fabric and contains two black ear cups with perforated inner sections.
The communication unit includes multiple cables, adjustment knobs, connections, a brass plug section and the marking ‘T.M.C. AP12500’.
A further ‘G & C’ marking is visible on the black round housing.
This set is an interesting original US Navy communication item for collectors of WWII militaria, naval equipment, shipboard communications and technical field gear.

Originele WWII US Navy set uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, bestaande uit een blauwgrijze stalen talker helmet, een stoffen headsetkap met oorschelpen, bekabeling en een zwarte communicatie-eenheid met draagriem.
De helm heeft een typische afgeronde vorm met ventilatiegaatjes aan de rand en een binnenvoering van licht textiel.
De headsetkap is uitgevoerd in bruin en beige stof en bevat twee zwarte oorschelpen met geperforeerde binnenzijde.
De communicatie-eenheid is voorzien van meerdere kabels, draaiknoppen, aansluitingen, een koperen stekkerdeel en een markering ‘T.M.C. AP12500’.
Op de zwarte ronde behuizing is daarnaast een markering ‘G & C’ zichtbaar.
