Original WWII German lichtsprechgerät 80

Original German WWII Lichtsprechgerät 80, a rare optical communication device developed for wireless voice transmission using a directed beam of light.
This complete set includes the optical transmitter/receiver, original tripod, 1941 amplifier, headset with microphone, cables and accessories.
The optical unit is marked with serial number 218075 dated 1940 and the amplifier carries serial number 217665 dated 1941.
The tripod is marked ‘Hildebrand-Wichmann-Werke Freiberg-Sa.’.
The original German operating instruction plate remains attached to the rear of the optical unit.
Included is an original period photograph measuring approximately 9 x 6 cm showing a Lichtsprechgerät 80 in service.
A copy of the original operating manual is also included.
The Lichtsprechgerät 80 is considered one of the rarest and most remarkable German communication systems of the Second World War and was used for secure voice communication without radio transmission.
The set remains in fine original used condition with normal signs of military use.
An exceptional collector’s piece for collections of original German WWII communications equipment.
The functionality of the Lichtsprechgerät 80 has not been tested and it is therefore offered as a historical collector’s item.

Originele WWII Duitse Lichtsprechgerät 80 

Originele Duitse Lichtsprechgerät 80 uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, een zeldzaam optisch communicatieapparaat ontwikkeld voor draadloze spraakverbindingen via een gerichte lichtbundel.
Deze complete set bestaat uit de optische zender/ontvanger, origineel statief, versterker uit 1941, headset met microfoon, bekabeling en accessoires.
De optische eenheid draagt serienummer 218075 met jaartal 1940 en de versterker draagt serienummer 217665 met jaartal 1941.
Het statief is gemerkt ‘Hildebrand-Wichmann-Werke Freiberg-Sa.’.
Aan de achterzijde bevindt zich nog de originele Duitse bedieningsplaat met instructies.
Bij de set wordt tevens een originele periodieke foto van circa 9 x 6 cm meegeleverd waarop een Lichtsprechgerät 80 in gebruik is te zien.
Daarnaast wordt een kopie van de originele handleiding meegeleverd.
Het Lichtsprechgerät 80 behoort tot de meest bijzondere en zeldzame Duitse communicatieapparaten uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog en werd ingezet voor veilige verbindingen zonder radiouitzendingen.
Een uitzonderlijk verzamelobject voor de verzamelaar van originele Duitse communicatieapparatuur uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
De werking van het Lichtsprechgerät 80 is niet getest en wordt daarom verkocht als historisch verzamelobject.
