Original German Hitlerjugend ‘Führerdienst’ brochure issued by the Befehlstelle Niederlande in November 1942.
Published in occupied Netherlands for internal use within the Hitlerjugend and Deutsches Jungvolk organisations.
The brochure contains service schedules, ideological education, propaganda, songs and instructional material for youth leaders within the National Socialist youth organisation during the Second World War.
The cover features the title ‘Führerdienst’ together with the National Socialist eagle emblem and the text ‘Befehlstelle Niederlande’.
Inside are monthly schedules for November 1942, propaganda surrounding the Langemarck commemoration and texts for Hitlerjugend memorial gatherings.
Topics inside include ‘Ewige Wache’, ‘Langemarck-Feier einer Gefolgschaft’, speeches for Hitlerjugend gatherings on 9 November and various National Socialist songs with musical notation.
The booklet also contains ideological texts regarding the NSDAP, Hitlerjugend training, mandatory activities, sports, field instruction and propaganda supporting the National Socialist movement.
One page explicitly contains antisemitic propaganda referring to the so-called ‘Berliner Judenregierung’.

Uitgegeven in bezet Nederland voor intern gebruik binnen de Hitlerjugend en het Deutsches Jungvolk.
De brochure bevat dienstschema’s, ideologische scholing, propaganda, liederen en instructiemateriaal voor jeugdleiders binnen de nationaalsocialistische jeugdorganisatie tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Op de omslag staat de titel ‘Führerdienst’ met nationaalsocialistische adelaar en vermelding ‘Befehlstelle Niederlande’.
Binnenin bevinden zich maandprogramma’s voor november 1942, propaganda rond de Langemarck-herdenking en teksten voor herdenkingsbijeenkomsten van de Hitlerjugend.
Onderwerpen in de brochure zijn onder meer ‘Ewige Wache’, ‘Langemarck-Feier einer Gefolgschaft’, toespraken voor de Hitlerjugend op 9 november en diverse nationaalsocialistische liederen met muzieknotatie.
