Original 1846 Dutch East Indies army Bali campaign medal with document

Exceptional historical ensemble consisting of an original KNIL service record extract with accompanying Bali campaign medal named to Eduard Constantijn Marinus Lodewijk ten Kate van Loo.
Born on August 3rd 1821 in Bantam, Dutch East Indies.
Serving within the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army as medical officer 3rd class.
The official document records his military career, appointments, transfers and participation in the Bali campaigns.
The medal retains the original campaign clasps “BALI 1846” and “BALI 1849”.
The document specifically references the 1846 campaign under Major General Michiels and the 1849 Bali expedition.
The service extract was verified and signed in Soerabaja on May 4th 1852.

Originele 1846 Nederlandse KNIL Bali medaille met stamboek-uittreksel

Bijzonder historisch ensemble bestaande uit een origineel KNIL stamboek-uittreksel met bijbehorende Bali medaille op naam van Eduard Constantijn Marinus Lodewijk ten Kate van Loo.
Geboren op 3 augustus 1821 te Bantam in Nederlands-Indië.
Werkzaam binnen het Koninklijk Nederlands-Indisch Leger als officier van gezondheid 3e klasse.
Het officiële document vermeldt zijn militaire loopbaan, benoemingen, overplaatsingen en deelname aan de Bali veldtochten.
De medaille draagt de originele campagnegespen “BALI 1846” en “BALI 1849”.
In het document worden onder meer de veldtocht van 1846 onder generaal-majoor Michiels en de expeditie van 1849 naar Bali vermeld.
Het stamboek-uittreksel werd gecontroleerd en ondertekend te Soerabaja op 4 mei 1852.
