Original WWII Dutch Nationale Jeugdstorm ‘Trommelmarsch’ document

Original typed song sheet of the National Youth Storm (Nationale Jeugdstorm) from the Second World War titled “Trommelmarsch”.
The document contains propagandistic marching song lyrics intended for use within the Dutch Youth Storm, the youth organisation connected to the NSB and therefore a collaborating organisation during the German occupation of the Netherlands.

The text includes nationalist and ideological references to the “Jeugdstorm”, “Leader”, “Fatherland” and marching discipline, intended for collective singing during meetings, drills and parades.

Such internal song sheets were used as part of National Socialist youth indoctrination within the organisation and today remain rare surviving pieces of Dutch collaboration history from the occupation years.

Origineel getypt liedblad van de Nationale Jeugdstorm uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog met de titel “Trommelmarsch”.
Het document bevat propagandistische marsliedteksten bedoeld voor gebruik binnen de Nederlandse Jeugdstorm, de jeugdorganisatie verbonden aan de NSB en daarmee een collaborerende organisatie tijdens de Duitse bezetting van Nederland.

De tekst bevat nationalistische en ideologische verwijzingen naar “Jeugdstorm”, “Leider”, “Vaderland” en marsdiscipline, bedoeld voor collectieve zang tijdens bijeenkomsten, exercities en optochten.

Dergelijke interne liedbladen werden gebruikt als onderdeel van de nationaalsocialistische jeugdvorming binnen de organisatie en zijn tegenwoordig zeldzame overblijfselen van Nederlandse collaboratiegeschiedenis uit de bezettingsjaren.
