Original 1945-1949 Dutch-Indies set

Original Dutch East Indies military set from the 1945-1949 period consisting of documents, photo albums, field photographs and personal military items.
The set belonged to soldier N.I.E.S.S.E.N. H. with service number 260820255.
Included is an original “Kleding- en Uitrustingslijst” dated Makassar, 10 January 1948.
The document contains military registrations, inspections, handwritten notes and references to commander Edelbroek P.A.
Also included is the original booklet “Reglement betreffende de Krijgstucht” printed by Algemene Landsdrukkerij in The Hague in 1945.
The set contains two original photo albums with a total of 44 original black and white photographs measuring approximately 9 x 6 cm.
Depicted are Dutch soldiers during patrols, jungle marches, defensive positions and moments of rest.
The photographs also show volcanic landscapes, mountain areas and military camp scenes in Indonesia.
Also included are photographs of armed soldiers with mortar positions and group photographs in tropical surroundings.
Included is a separate black and white portrait photograph of the soldier in uniform.
An original red embroidered “Menno van Coehoorn” insignia is included as well.
The reverse side of one album is handwritten “van Coehoorn”.
An personally assembled Dutch East Indies grouping from the Indonesian War of Independence with strong historical appeal.

Originele Nederlands-Indië militaire set uit de periode 1945-1949 bestaande uit documenten, fotoalbums, veldfoto’s en persoonlijke militaire items.
De set behoort toe aan militair N.I.E.S.S.E.N. H. met stamboeknummer 260820255.
Aanwezig is een originele “Kleding- en Uitrustingslijst” gedateerd Makassar, 10 Januari 1948.
Het document bevat militaire registraties, inspecties, handgeschreven aanvullingen en vermeldingen van commandant Edelbroek P.A.
Inclusief origineel boekje “Reglement betreffende de Krijgstucht” gedrukt door Algemene Landsdrukkerij te ’s-Gravenhage in 1945.
De set bevat twee originele fotoalbums met in totaal 44 originele zwart-wit foto’s van circa 9 x 6 cm.
Afgebeeld zijn Nederlandse militairen tijdens patrouilles, jungletochten, stellingen en rustmomenten.
Daarnaast tonen de foto’s vulkanische landschappen, berggebieden en kampopstellingen in Indonesië.
Tevens aanwezig zijn foto’s van bewapende militairen met mortieropstelling en groepsfoto’s in tropische omgeving.
Inclusief losse zwart-wit portretfoto van de militair in uniform.
Bijgevoegd is een origineel rood geborduurd “Menno van Coehoorn” embleem.
Op de achterzijde van één album staat handgeschreven “van Coehoorn”.
Een persoonlijk samengestelde Nederlands-Indië groepsset uit de Indonesische Onafhankelijkheidsoorlog met sterke historische uitstraling.
