Original 1945-1949 Dutch KNIL military driver’s licenses and insignia

Original military driver’s license set from the Koninklijk Nederlandsch-Indisch Leger (KNIL) used in the Dutch East Indies between 1945 and 1949.
The set includes two named military driver’s licenses featuring official stamps, signatures and registration numbers.
Both documents show signs of use consistent with long-term military service conditions during the post-war Dutch East Indies period.
Included is an original cloth insignia with wheel and wing motif associated with military motor service units.
The first license was issued in Bandoeng in 1948 to a 2nd lieutenant serving in the cavalry.
The second document is a KNIL military driver’s license B issued in Batavia in 1947 to a sergeant connected to the M.I.D.
The documents feature original military training and motor service stamps used within the KNIL structure.
A rare and historically important KNIL set from the Indonesian War of Independence era.

Originele WWII Nederlandse KNIL set militaire rijbewijzen met embleem

Originele set militaire rijbewijzen met embleem uit de periode van het Koninklijk Nederlandsch-Indisch Leger (KNIL) in Nederlandsch-Indië tussen 1945 en 1949.
De set bestaat uit twee militaire rijbewijzen op naam, voorzien van officiële stempels, handtekeningen en registratienummers.
Beide documenten tonen gebruikssporen passend bij langdurig gebruik binnen militaire dienstomstandigheden in de naoorlogse periode van Nederlands-Indië.
Inclusief origineel stoffen embleem met wiel- en vleugelmotief zoals gebruikt binnen militaire motordiensten.
Het eerste rijbewijs is afgegeven te Bandoeng in 1948 aan een 2e luitenant van de cavalerie.
Het tweede rijbewijs betreft een KNIL militair rijbewijs B afgegeven te Batavia in 1947 aan een sergeant verbonden aan de M.I.D.
De documenten bevatten originele stempels van militaire opleidings- en motordiensten binnen het KNIL.
Een zeldzame en historisch interessante KNIL set uit de Indonesische onafhankelijkheidsperiode.
