Original WWII German Ewiges Deutschland – Ein Deutsches Hausbuch book with SS autograph Berlin 1941

Original German book “Ewiges Deutschland – Ein Deutsches Hausbuch” from the World War II period.
The book was published in 1941 by the Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes and printed by Verlag Georg Westermann in Braunschweig, Berlin and Hamburg.
This example contains an original handwritten dedication and signature of an SS-Sturmbannführer, dated Berlin, 31 May 1941.
The dedication reads “Zum 34. Geburtstag von der Abteilung IVa”, indicating it was presented as a personal wartime birthday gift.
The book includes various texts, quotes and illustrations of historical German figures such as King Henry I, Ulrich von Hutten and Immanuel Kant.
Its contents consist of patriotic writings, poems and historical references typical for German publications of the period.
The original cloth cover with the title “Ewiges Deutschland” on the front and spine remains in good condition with normal signs of age.

Origineel Duits boek “Ewiges Deutschland – Ein Deutsches Hausbuch” uit de periode van de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Het boek werd uitgegeven in 1941 door het Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes en gedrukt door Verlag Georg Westermann in Braunschweig, Berlijn en Hamburg.
Dit exemplaar bevat een originele handgeschreven opdracht en handtekening van een SS-Sturmbannführer, gedateerd Berlin, den 31. Mai 1941.
De opdracht vermeldt “Zum 34. Geburtstag von der Abteilung IVa”, wat het boek tot een persoonlijk militair geschenk uit de oorlogstijd maakt.
