Original Dutch army summer uniform consisting of tunic and trousers dating to the 1920s.
The uniform belonged to an officer of the Dutch infantry and is made of light khaki summer fabric typical for the interwar period.
The collar shows rank stars indicating that the wearer held the rank of captain.
On the chest there is a gold bullion embroidered badge referring to the Higher War School (Hogere Krijgsschool), an advanced training institution for senior Dutch army officers.
The tunic features four pockets, original buttons with the Dutch lion and blue piping details on the collar and cuffs.
The matching trousers also feature blue piping along the legs, characteristic for infantry officers.
The uniform shows signs of age and use consistent with military service and its historical period.
A label inside the trousers indicates that the uniform was produced in Deventer in the Netherlands.

Origineel 1920-1929 Nederlands leger zomer infanterie uniform – jas en broek
Origineel Nederlands leger zomeruniform bestaande uit jas en broek uit de jaren 1920.
Het uniform behoort tot een officier van de Nederlandse infanterie en is uitgevoerd in licht kaki zomerstof zoals gebruikt in het interbellum.
De kraag is voorzien van rangsterren waaruit blijkt dat de drager de rang van kapitein heeft bereikt.
Op de borst bevindt zich een geborduurd embleem in gouddraad dat verwijst naar de Hogere Krijgsschool, een opleidingsinstituut voor hogere officieren van het Nederlandse leger.
De jas is uitgevoerd met vier zakken, originele knopen met Nederlandse leeuw en blauwe biesdetails langs de kraag en manchetten.
De bijbehorende broek heeft eveneens blauwe biezen langs de pijpen, kenmerkend voor officieren van de infanterie.
Het uniform toont duidelijke gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd en het gebruik binnen militaire dienst.
Aan de binnenzijde van de broek bevindt zich een label waaruit blijkt dat het uniform geproduceerd is in Deventer.
