This original U.S. Navy Aviator NAF 1092 Flight Cap is a historic piece of flight gear worn by pilots and aircrew of the United States Navy during the Second World War.

The cap is made of dark brown leather and lined with soft sheepskin, designed to protect aviators from cold and wind during high-altitude flights in open or poorly insulated cockpits. Inside, the original label is still present, marked N.A.F. 1092, contract number NXs-41068, and manufacturer B-G Inc., confirming that it is an officially issued U.S. Navy flight helmet.
