This original British RAF 1941 Pattern Sidcot Suit is a historic flying suit worn by Royal Air Force aircrew during the Second World War.

This type of suit was developed to protect pilots and aircrew from the extreme cold and wind encountered during high-altitude operations in unpressurized bombers and fighter aircraft. The design is based on the well-known Sidcot flying suit, originally developed during the First World War by Sidney Cotton, and later adapted and used by the RAF throughout the war years.

Deze originele Britse RAF 1941 Pattern Sidcot Suit is een historisch vliegpak dat werd gedragen door bemanningsleden van de Royal Air Force tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Dit type pak werd ontwikkeld om vliegers te beschermen tegen de extreme kou en wind tijdens operaties op grote hoogte in niet-geperste bommenwerpers en jachtvliegtuigen. Het ontwerp is gebaseerd op de bekende Sidcot flying suit, oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld in de Eerste Wereldoorlog door Sidney Cotton, en werd in aangepaste vorm door de RAF gebruikt gedurende de oorlogsjaren.
