Original Pre 1940 Dutch army silver mobilisatie ring

This original Dutch silver mobilization ring from 1939 is a remarkable historical keepsake from the period just before the outbreak of the Second World War.

The ring was worn during the mobilization of the Dutch army in 1939 and symbolizes the time when thousands of soldiers were called up to defend the Netherlands. On the top of the ring the year 1939 is clearly displayed, surrounded by the word “Mobilisatie” (Mobilization) and a stylized monogram.

Deze originele Nederlandse zilveren mobilisatiering uit 1939 is een bijzonder historisch herinneringsobject uit de periode vlak voor het uitbreken van de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
