Original WWII German DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband) stamp

This original DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband) stamp from the Second World War is an administrative object dating from the early period of the German military aviation organization.

The Deutscher Luftsportverband was, during the 1930s, an officially presented civilian air sports organization which in reality was closely connected to the development and expansion of the Luftwaffe.

The stamp consists of a wooden handle fitted with a metal stamp plate. The round imprint reads “DLV Deutscher Luftsportverband” around the edge, with the central winged emblem featuring a swastika, as used by the organization at the time.

The piece remains in authentic, used condition with visible age and handling wear consistent with administrative use during the wartime period.

Deze originele DLV (Deutscher Luftsportverband) stempel uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog betreft een administratief object uit de beginperiode van de Duitse militaire luchtvaartorganisatie. De Deutscher Luftsportverband was in de jaren dertig de officieel ogende sportluchtvaartorganisatie die in werkelijkheid nauw verbonden was met de opbouw van de Luftwaffe. De stempel bestaat uit een houten handgreep met metalen stempelplaat. Op de ronde stempelafdruk is het opschrift “DLV Deutscher Luftsportverband” rondom geplaatst, met centraal het gevleugelde embleem met hakenkruis, zoals gebruikt binnen deze organisatie. Het geheel verkeert in een authentieke, gebruikte staat met duidelijke ouderdoms- en gebruikssporen passend bij administratief gebruik in oorlogstijd.
