Original WWII Dutch distributiedienst document Oudenbosch/Zevenbergen

Original Second World War distribution circular issued by the Distribution District of Zevenbergen, drawn up in Oudenbosch on 7 August 1942, during the German occupation of the Netherlands. This typed official document, reference No. 2220/D, concerns the regulation of advance allocations of rationed goods in connection with evacuations during the period 9 to 15 August 1942. The circular was addressed to local retailers, including bakers, butchers and potato merchants, and describes in detail how they could temporarily receive up to 30% additional goods based on previously submitted consumer ration coupons, in order to prevent disruptions to the food supply during evacuation measures.

Dit getypte officiële document met kenmerk No. 2220/D behandelt de regeling van voorschotten op rantsoenen in verband met evacuaties in de periode 9 tot en met 15 augustus 1942. De circulaire was gericht aan lokale detailhandelaren zoals bakkers, slagers en aardappelhandelaren en beschrijft nauwkeurig hoe zij tijdelijk tot maximaal 30% extra goederen konden ontvangen op basis van eerder ingeleverde consumentenbonnen, om verstoringen in de voedselvoorziening tijdens evacuatiemaatregelen op te vangen.
