The photo shows a German military parade in Amsterdam on 10 February 1941, with troops of the Ordnungspolizei marching past the Reich Commissioner Arthur Seyss-Inquart.
On the front, Nazi symbols, marching soldiers, and a military truck filled with troops are clearly visible, while in the background a large crowd of spectators and characteristic Amsterdam architecture can be seen.
The reverse is fitted with an original caption strip including description, date, and location, as well as a red stamp reading “Approved by German Censorship.”

Nederlandse foto uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, formaat 18 x 13 cm, met een indrukwekkende historische scène. De foto toont een Duits militair defilé in Amsterdam op 10 februari 1941, waarbij troepen van de Ordnungspolizei voorbijtrekken voor de Rijkscommissaris Arthur Seyss-Inquart. Op de voorzijde zijn duidelijk nazisymbolen, marcherende manschappen en een militaire vrachtwagen met soldaten zichtbaar, terwijl op de achtergrond een grote menigte toeschouwers en karakteristieke Amsterdamse bebouwing te zien zijn. De achterzijde is voorzien van een originele tekststrook met beschrijving, datering en plaatsaanduiding, evenals een rood stempel “Goedgekeurd door Duitsche Censuur”.
