Original 1902 German handwritten and signed letter by Kaiser Wilhelm II in Berlin

Original, handwritten and signed note by Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm II, dated Berlin, 27 January 1902. The document is written in Kurrent script and contains a substantive imperial comment on a military-administrative matter. The text is addressed to the chiefs of the army inspection and reflects Wilhelm II’s personal involvement in decision-making within the German Empire. Prominently placed at the center of the document is his characteristic large signature “Wilhelm I.R.” (Imperator Rex), as used on internal government documents.
