Original WWII Dutch Nederlandsche Arbeidsfront (NAF) poster Jiu Jitsu

This collaboration poster of the Nederlandsche Arbeidsfront (N.A.F.) from the Second World War is an interesting and historical propaganda print from the occupation period.
The poster announces a special Sunday morning gathering at the Odeon Theater on 8 November, organized under the slogan Vreugde en Arbeid (“Joy and Labour”).
Central to the announcement is the screening of the film “Vervaagde Sporen” (a Tobis production), accompanied by a Jiu Jitsu demonstration on stage — a martial arts presentation intended to promote discipline, strength, and physical resilience, values actively propagated by the N.A.F.

Deze collaboratie poster van het Nederlandsche Arbeidsfront (N.A.F.) uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is een interessant en historisch propagandadrukwerk uit de bezettingsperiode. De poster kondigt een speciale zondagochtendbijeenkomst aan in het Odeon Theater op 8 november, georganiseerd onder het motto Vreugde en Arbeid. Centraal staat de filmvoorstelling “Vervaagde Sporen” (Tobisfilm), met daaronder de aankondiging van een Jiu Jitsu-demonstratie op het toneel, een vechtsportpresentatie die moest bijdragen aan de promotie van discipline, kracht en fysieke weerbaarheid, waarden die het N.A.F. actief uitdroeg.
