Original WWII Dutch Nederlandsche Volksdienst NVD poster

This Dutch collaboration poster of the Nederlandsche Volksdienst (NVD) from the Second World War is a striking piece of propaganda from the occupation period.
The poster prominently features the large NVD emblem in strong black-and-white contrasts, surrounded by an expressive burst of blue, white, and orange.
Above it appears the recruiting slogan “Ook U behoort in den NVD” (“You too belong in the NVD”), while the call to action “Wordt lid!” (“Join!”) is boldly displayed at the bottom.

Deze collaboratie poster van de Nederlandsche Volksdienst (NVD) uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is een opvallend propagandadrukwerk uit de bezettingsperiode. De poster toont centraal het grote NVD-embleem, uitgevoerd in krachtige zwart-witcontrasten, omringd door een expressieve waaier van blauw, wit en oranje. Daarboven staat de wervende tekst “Ook U behoort in den NVD”, terwijl onderaan de oproep “Wordt lid!” prominent is weergegeven.
