Original 1869 Dutch ‘Voor Krijgsverrichtingen’ medaille

This magnificent Dutch Kruis voor Krijgsverrichtingen is in exceptional, near-mint condition.
The silver-colored decoration features the characteristic portrait of King William III, surrounded by fine details and the inscription “Voor Krijgsverrichtingen.”
The Cross was instituted on 19 February 1869 and was awarded to military personnel who had taken part in recognized military operations, often in the Dutch colonies, demonstrating dedication, courage, or honorable service during those campaigns.
The original ribbon, in vibrant green and orange, is crisp, brightly colored, and fully intact.

Deze schitterende Nederlandse Kruis voor Krijgsverrichtingen bevindt zich in uitzonderlijke, vrijwel mint conditie.
De zilverkleurige onderscheiding toont het karakteristieke portret van Koning Willem III, omringd door fijne details en de inscriptie “Voor Krijgsverrichtingen”.
Het kruis werd ingesteld op 19 februari 1869 en werd toegekend aan militairen die hadden deelgenomen aan erkende krijgsverrichtingen, veelal in de Nederlandse koloniën, waarbij zij inzet, moed of eervolle dienst tijdens deze operaties hadden getoond.
Het originele lint in groen en oranje is strak, helder van kleur en volledig intact.
