Original WWII German SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald 2 RM Wertmarke

This rare 2 RM voucher from the SS Garrison Canteen (SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald) at the concentration camp of Buchenwald is a remarkable piece of camp currency from the Second World War.
The note, numbered 32161, clearly shows the print and the finely detailed pattern characteristic of such issues within the concentration camp.
Despite visible signs of age including discoloration, folds, and an old tape repair it remains an impressive and historically valuable document.
This Wertmarke was originally used as an internal means of exchange and payment within the SS canteen of Konzentrationslager Buchenwald.

Deze zeldzame 2 RM Wertmarke van de SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald is een bijzonder stuk kampgeld uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Het biljet, genummerd 32161, toont duidelijk de opdruk en het fijn gedetailleerde patroon dat kenmerkend was voor dergelijke uitgiftes binnen het concentratiekamp.
