Original WWII German NSKK plaque ‘Nachtsuchfahrt 1937 Motor-Gruppe Hessen’

This German NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) plaque from 1937 was issued to commemorate the Nachtsuchfahrt of the Motor-Gruppe Hessen.
The plaque is made of metal with a beautiful gilt finish and features an enameled central shield depicting a white-silver fir tree on a blue background, surrounded by oak leaves and regional coats of arms.
At the top, the NSKK emblem is displayed with the inscription “Nachtsuchfahrt 1937 Motor-Gruppe Hessen.”
The reverse side is clearly marked with the stamp “E. F. Wiedmann, Frankfurt a.M.”, referring to the German maker known for NSKK and DRL plaques from this period.
The plaque measures 9 cm in diameter and remains in nice original condition with minor signs of age.
A rare and historically interesting collectible for any NSKK or World War II militaria collection.

Originele WWII Duitse NSKK plaquette ‘Nachtsuchfahrt 1937 Motor-Gruppe Hessen’

Deze Duitse NSKK (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps) plaquette uit 1937, uitgegeven ter herinnering aan de Nachtsuchfahrt van de Motor-Gruppe Hessen. De plaquette is vervaardigd uit metaal met een fraaie vergulde afwerking en een geëmailleerd centraal schild met een wit-zilverkleurige dennenboom op een blauwe achtergrond, omringd door eikenbladeren en regionale wapenschilden. Bovenaan is het NSKK-embleem zichtbaar met de tekst “Nachtsuchfahrt 1937 Motor-Gruppe Hessen.” Aan de achterzijde is de plaquette duidelijk gemerkt met de stempel “E. F. Wiedmann, Frankfurt a.M.”, wat staat voor de Duitse maker van NSKK- en DRL-plaquettes uit deze periode.
De plaquette heeft een diameter van 9 cm en bevindt zich in mooie, originele conditie met lichte ouderdomssporen.
Een zeldzaam en historisch interessant verzamelobject voor de NSKK- of Tweede Wereldoorlog-militaria collectie.
