Original WWII Nederlandsche Arbeidsdienst flyer

This Dutch collaboration flyer from the Second World War period is a publication of the Nederlandsche Arbeidsdienst (NAD), the organization established by the German occupier to mobilize Dutch youth for labor in the service of society and the National Socialist ideology.

Deze Nederlandse collaboratie flyer uit de periode van de Tweede Wereldoorlog is een uitgave van de Nederlandsche Arbeidsdienst (NAD), de organisatie die door de Duitse bezetter werd opgericht om Nederlandse jongeren in te zetten voor arbeid ten dienste van de samenleving en het nationaalsocialistische gedachtegoed.
De brochure opent met de titel “Uw plaats is in den Nederlandschen Arbeidsdienst” en bevat meerdere pagina’s met tekst en foto’s die het doel, de organisatie en de idealen van de NAD toelichten.
Er wordt uitgebreid beschreven hoe jonge mannen door fysieke arbeid en discipline zouden bijdragen aan de opbouw van Nederland.
Binnenin bevat de flyer staat onder meer een portret van de toenmalige commandant J.N. Breunese.
