Original WWII German SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald 2 RM Wertmarke

This 2 Reichsmark note was issued as a voucher (Wertmarke) by the SS Standort-Kantine in concentration camp Buchenwald.
The note bears the designation Außenkommando, indicating its use with the outside labor detachments of the camp.
The voucher is printed in orange with a fine repeating pattern and features black overprint with serial number.
On the front it clearly states SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald, together with the value of 2 RM.
This type of camp money was not used in regular payment transactions but had value only within the internal camp system.

Origineel WWII Duitse SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald 2 RM Wertmarke

Dit biljet van 2 Reichsmark werd uitgegeven als waardebon (Wertmarke) door de SS-Standort-Kantine in concentratiekamp Buchenwald.
Het biljet draagt de aanduiding Außenkommando, wat wijst op gebruik bij buitencommando’s van het kamp.
De waardebon is uitgevoerd in oranje met een fijn herhalingspatroon en voorzien van zwart opdruk met serienummer.
Aan de voorzijde staat duidelijk vermeld SS-Standort-Kantine Buchenwald, samen met de waarde van 2 RM.
Dit type kampgeld werd niet in het reguliere betalingsverkeer gebruikt, maar had uitsluitend waarde binnen de interne kamporganisatie.
