Original WWII German sympathizers button

This German button from World War II is a so-called sympathizer button, worn by civilians and supporters of the National Socialist regime.
The button is made of gold-colored metal and features a swastika in the center, surrounded by a decorative border.
The reverse side is fitted with the original attachment loop.
Such buttons were often worn on civilian clothing or accessories to display political sympathy and affiliation.

Dit Duitse knoopje uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is een zogenoemde sympathisantenknoop, gedragen door burgers en aanhangers van het nationaalsocialistische regime.
De knoop is uitgevoerd in goudkleurig metaal en toont centraal een swastika, omrand door een sierlijke rand.
De achterzijde is voorzien van de originele bevestigingsoog.
Zulke knopen werden vaak gedragen op burgerkleding of accessoires om politieke sympathie en verbondenheid te tonen.
